Under Jason’s leadership, the Prosecutor’s Office launched a first-of-its-kind, public-facing Law and Justice Dashboard. The dashboard provides residents with clear, accessible data on charging decisions, case outcomes, timelines, and system trends across law enforcement and prosecution. This transparency helps the public understand how cases move through the system and ensures accountability in how the Prosecutor’s Office does its work.

Expanded Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion (LEAD)

Jason and his team have overseen a major expansion of Snohomish County’s LEAD program—from just two city law enforcement agencies to twelve, including the Sheriff’s Office. LEAD gives officers a practical tool to connect individuals whose unlawful behavior is driven by unmanaged substance use, mental health challenges, or extreme poverty with case management and community-based services. The result: greater stability for individuals, reduced strain on the jail system, and safer communities.
